Fun Summer Crafts for Kids

By

When school is out during the summer, it’s the perfect time to ready a list of crafts that will allow your kids having fun and being creative! Some of these crafts can be made from materials found in the great outdoors…have an adventure with your little one to collect the items before you make it. You can also make it educational by using it as a way to teach your kids about animals and nature.

Handmade Father’s Day Cards

 unnamed

Father’s Day is a great day for your kids to show everyone how much they appreciate what their Dad does for them.  A simple but special treat for Dad is a handmade card. Below are some examples of everything from printables to handprints, and even specially cut cards. Your little one will enjoy being creative, and Dad will love a card lovingly created by them.

Footsteps Card

Daddy’s Little Monster Card

Collared Shirt Card

Dad Jokes Card

Fathers Day Letter

Another great option is a tie card. Fold a sheet of paper in half cut into the shape of a tie. Decorate that tie and have dad “wear” it for his special day.

Kids’ Winter Crafts

By

Are the kids tired of the snow yet?  Have them enjoy winter with some of these fun craft projects.  Even you can join in on the fun!

Cotton Ball Snowman

Most of us probably made one of these in our childhood, but that doesn’t mean it’s no longer a fun craft!

Snowman Glyph

This one is interesting because your child designs the snowman based on how they answer certain questions.  If you have multiple kids, they may all get different results!

Mosaic Penguin

This project can easily fill an hour or two of time and can be enjoyed by kids of all ages.

Pinecone Bird Feeder

Not only will your kids enjoy putting together this fun and easy craft, you’ll also be helping the birds who don’t fly south for the winter!

Coloring Pages

Who doesn’t love to color?  Even you’re probably thinking about picking up a crayon right now!

Do you have any winter crafts you would like to share?
