Making a Fall “Bucket” List

Fall is my favorite time of year! What do I love? Pumpkins, apples, the colors, the chill in the air, and so much more. I live in Wisconsin so we get the beautiful changes in the color of the leaves, pick our own apples, and visit massive pumpkin patches. There is so much to fit in during the season of fall and I feel like every weekend is filled with fun things to do.

If you are anything like me you can name off all the great things you would like to do, but forget to do some of them while I am actually going through the season.  As I enter into the Christmas season I look back bummed that, once again, I forgot to make that recipe or visit a certain fall attraction!

So, I decided this year I am going to make a Fall “Bucket” List. I want to show you how to make one of these and how you can add it to your fall decorations.

First make a list with the family of all the different things you would like to do this fall. It can include certain foods, adventures, and even crafts.

Then, you can type those words into a word processing program, a graphics program, or if you want something quick you can use Wordle. I used Wordle which made this a super, easy craft! I found that when using phrases or words you want to keep together that you need to put a period as the space, otherwise it will separate the words.

Fix them to get the look you want  by manipulating colors, fonts, and more. Feel free to make it your own and you have your own personal fall “bucket” list. Here’s Mine:

Once it is all done you can post it on the fridge, hang it on your bulletin board, or display it. I like to stick mine in a frame and use it as part of my fall decorations.

A quick easy fall decoration that provides a purpose plus makes a great topic of conversation! What is on your fall bucket list?
