It’s that time of year and the days are dwindling down – do you or your kids have their Holiday Wish List ready? If they are anything like mine – they have said “I want that for the holidays” countless times since the last holiday season. But, have they actually taken the time to sit and record it? Of course not. I want to share some ways that the family can write and share their wish list.
We used to go to all the store and I would have a notepad and pen and write down each item my sons wanted. Every year, I thought, there has to be an easier way! So I started looking for the perfect way to generate a wish list.
A great way to create an online wish list is through WishList.com. You can add any item to your list from any website. And then you can email your list to anyone you would like.
This is great, but I wanted something mobile. When we are at a store the kids can just say – That’s what I want and I scan it. I thought this would be easier to find, but after a bunch of research I finally came across my registry.com. You can either upload things online or use the app to actually scan in items at the store.
This worked so great for our whole family. We could add the items we would like and then send an e-nouncment to the people that needed a wish list. It worked both in the store and with the iPhone app, but I could also use it online when I saw things I might like. This was the best alternative for my family.
Like to just stick to the old fashioned way of pen and paper? Family Fun has this great wish list template you can print out to make your list a little more festive.
The excitement of writing a wish list means that the holidays are just around the corner – Do you have your wish list written?
